At EX-CARS, you can book a car in several ways:

Can I rent a car without a deposit?

Yes, it is possible to rent a car without a deposit, but you must purchase additional insurance with zero deductible.

Can multiple people drive the rental car? Is there an extra charge for a second driver?

Any person listed in the rental agreement is allowed to drive the car. There is no extra fee for a second, third, or additional driver. It is strictly prohibited to hand over, sublet, or allow third parties not listed in the agreement to drive the car without prior approval from an EX-CARS manager.

Can I take the rental car abroad?

Leaving Georgia without prior agreement and an approved travel route from an EX-CARS manager is prohibited.

When is the security deposit returned?

The deposit is returned immediately after the vehicle is returned.

How is rental time and return calculated?

If you rent a car at, for example, 1:00 PM, you must return it by 1:00 PM on the return day. A delay of up to one hour is allowed. If you return the car more than an hour late, an additional full day will be charged. In some cases, we can make exceptions by agreement.

Can I pick up the car in one city and return it in another? For example, pick it up in Tbilisi and return it in Kutaisi?

Yes, you can pick up the car in one city and return it in another. This must be agreed upon in advance with an EX-CARS manager.

Can I get the car at night or outside business hours?

Yes, you can receive the car at any time. The rental price remains the same. EX-CARS reserves the right to charge a symbolic fee for delivery outside regular working hours.

Do you provide pickup service at the airport or train station?

Yes, we offer an airport pickup service and can deliver the car to the airport, train station, or your address.

Is 24/7 support available?

Yes, we offer round-the-clock support.

What documents are needed to rent a car?

To rent a car from our fleet, you only need two documents: a national passport and a driver’s license with category “B”.

Is a prepayment required?

It depends on the specific car. In some cases, no prepayment is required. Typically, the prepayment is 10–20%. Please confirm this with your EX-CARS manager.

Is insurance included?

All cars are insured and come with two types of coverage: CASCO (with 0% or 4% deductible) and third-party liability insurance (TPL) with coverage up to $10,000.
