In early November, we launched our long-awaited Jeep tour to Vashlovani National Park — a unique route through some of Georgia’s most beautiful landscapes. The journey covered a total of 480 km, with about 160 km passing through challenging yet scenic terrains: dirt roads, riverbeds, and winding mountain trails. We departed from Tbilisi in three brand-new and reliable Jeep Wranglers, which, as always, performed exceptionally well. By noon, our convoy arrived at the park, where we obtained the necessary permits for entering the border zone.

Our first stop was at an old Soviet airfield, abandoned in the middle of the steppe. Here, we took a short break, got to know the team, and received a briefing from our experienced guide, Irek. Soon after, our Jeep team set off again, driving through picturesque steppes that gradually gave way to mountainous landscapes. In the distance, the majestic Caucasus Mountains began to appear on the horizon.

A few hours later, we reached the mountains of Vashlovani. The route followed winding trails, crossing dried-up streams and mountain rivers. The breathtaking landscapes made time fly by. At one of our stops, border officers checked our documents and permits, wishing us a safe journey.

Our next stop was by the river that separates Georgia from Azerbaijan. After a short rest, we embarked on a true off-road adventure: narrow mountain roads, steep ascents and descents, and incredible panoramic viewpoints where we paused for a photo session and to soak in the natural beauty.

In the evening, we arrived at our accommodation, where we were welcomed by a local ranger. Cozy cottages and a stunning view of nature provided the perfect ending to an eventful day. Our chef, Mikhail, prepared dinner, and the group gathered around the campfire to share their impressions of the journey and discuss the most memorable moments. After dinner, tired but satisfied, we headed to our cottages for the night.

The morning started at a relaxed pace, and after breakfast, new adventures awaited us: 100 km of mountain roads toward the Azerbaijan border. Along the way, we passed through steppe landscapes, where we witnessed a real safari: more than 100 gazelles, various birds, and small native wildlife crossed our path. By evening, we reached the final stop, where a delicious dinner and a stunning sunset awaited us.
